Alicia Wight, M.Ed, CEC is an experienced leadership coach and consultant.
Throughout her career, Alicia has developed leadership and talent development programs for various sectors, including the police, telecommunications, energy, and post-secondary education. Alicia's early passion for sport and the teams she was part of has inspired her love for leadership, learning, and teams. She enjoys connecting with teams and leaders, supporting them in discovering their purpose, strengths, and opportunities through interactive activities.

My Story
From my earliest memories, teams played a critical role in my development, my success and my wellbeing. Sports teams were where my energy and excitement for teams was born, playing soccer, basketball, badminton and rugby. As I transitioned to the workplace, I learned that the teams I was part of played as critical of a role in my development, success and wellbeing at work as they did in sport.

My career has spanned many facets of Human Resources, with particular expertise built around leadership development, team effectiveness and coaching. I have always been my most energized working with people to find solutions to the complex challenges they faced - whether that was 1:1 coaching, tackling strategy or interpersonal relationships.

Being passionate about learning, I have continued to grow and learn throughout my career. I hold a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Windsor, a Masters of Education in Adult and Workplace Education from the University of Calgary, and a Certificate in Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University.
My most recent learning experience encouraged me to dig into what I love the most - my family and working with leaders. This led me to launch TeamingUp - founded in the belief that connection and space allows people to live into their desired outcomes.
